ARCTIC/CULVERT LIFT-STATION

Above-Ground or In-Ground

Starting at $6,000

What is the purpose of a lift station?

Lift stations are used to move wastewater from lower to higher elevation, particularly where the elevation of the source (the home or building) is not sufficient for gravity flow. The lift station contains pumps that push the wastewater to a higher elevation to create a downstream effect, where it is received into the wastewater treatment plant. The use of gravity will protect your Lifewater wastewater system from overflow or leakage.

Lifewater’s plastic, insulated lift stations are designed for buildings and homes built anywhere in Alaska. Whether your home is built on permafrost, or a commercial building is constructed on an incline, Lifewater has a solution for you!

Arctic Lift Station vs. Culvert Lift Station

For buildings built on permafrost, an Arctic Lift Station is for you! This above-ground lift station attaches to the building, allowing the building and the lift station to move simultaneously when the ground shifts. For buildings and homes that are not built on permafrost, a Culvert Lift Station is a solution for you! This lift station can be installed above ground (either on the ground or mounted to the exterior of the building), or can be partially buried.

A Lifewater Lift Station is:

  • Double-wall insulated
  • Designed to operate -60°F
  • Perfect for pumping into an above-ground model SST treatment system or to any engineered system requiring an artic grade lift station
  • Easily removable lid that provides full access to the pump compartment
  • Integral heat trace, easily replaceable
  • Solids handling sewage pump that delivers 10 gallons per pump cycle
  • High water alarm
  • Electrical junction box mounted on a small external panel to be secured to the building
